Tulpas and Tulpamancy

Post by Roystone »

When I first read Jaynes work recently it made me sit up and wonder why I can’t hear voices telling me what to do. If I indeed have two brains that share a connection I’d love to have two seats of consciousness yet I only seem to have one.

I started searching for information on this possibility and discovered that there are many people spending time creating their own Tulpas. A Tulpa is a sentient separate consciousness created through focus and intention. Apparently this is well documented and has its roots in traditional meditation practices. There is a growing body of people following laid down routines to create and shape an additional interior consciousness.

However, there is no discussion of this here on the forum. Not much on imaginary friends either.

Does anyone here have a Tulpa or any knowledge to share?
